WE WILL NOT MEET AT THE HOTEL MANOR! Slate Run Rd is closed due to a landslide and this the only access point to get to trails needing maintenance from Route 414. We will instead be meeting at the DCNR Bureau of Forestry building in Waterville and access the trails from Route 44. The forestry building can be found at https://goo.gl/maps/dPLy9PQM57Q2.

We have a trail work day scheduled for September 22, 2018 from 9am until 3pm. We will be meeting at the Hotel Manor in Slate Run and divide into teams there working on the Black Forest Trail specifically. A good portion of the trail work that will need to be done is string trimmer work clearing stinging nettle and hand pruner work to knock back mountain laurel.
